My name is Anthony De La Cruz and I have started my own small business called Chingon Threads. The business is an online driven street-wear clothing line at the moment (due to Covid). This is something I've always wanted to do since high school, but never had any specific idea or niche that was passionate about until recently. I started the brand solely because I have never seen a major clothing line that represents Hispanics to a commercial corporation level like "Nike", or "Adidas " just to name a few. Chingon Threads at the moment is more of a side job and is only ran by me. All profits either go back into the business for equipment to improve the quality of the clothing or back into the community. Since I've started the clothing line I've always asked myself the same question over and over again. "Why Chingon Threads?", "Why should anybody follow/ purchase my clothes?". It wasn't until recently that i finally answered that question. The brand is more or less for people like me, a Peruvian/Mexican roots but can't find normal street-wear to properly represent me as a person. When people wear my clothing I want them to feel a sense of confidence, and passion for their culture.
